Helping Adams Foods to innovate with their new insight hub
By Simon Wissink | 04/03/2013
Adams Foods launch a new online Insight Hub to share some of the insight and innovation that comes from their work, customers and industry peers.
Adams Foods are the UK’s largest supplier of pre-packed hard cheese, supplying every major UK food retailer as well as the wholesale, convenience and foodservice sectors with over 200m packs per year.
With well-known brands such as Pilgrims Choice cheese and Kerrygold butter, established brands such as Horlicks Farms cheese, and emerging brands such as Mu cheese, their vision is “to be the most enterprising supplier of cheese, butter and other dairy products in the UK”.
Helping to realise this vision are the customer marketing, category management and consumer insight teams. They are at the forefront of their field, driving innovation, product development and the future of the dairy category, for Adams and the wider market.
Sigma designed and developed a new Insight Hub built on the Umbraco content management system (www.getinsight.adamsfoods.com).
For Adams Foods and their audience this will become a one-stop shop for key industry information and insight that can be viewed and shared seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices. As well as news feeds and updates from the Adams Foods social media channels, the Insight Hub contains valuable reports, resources, commentary and assets emerging from those at the forefront of the dairy category.
Some of this information is publicly available and can be browsed, shared or downloaded at a user’s desk or on the go, due to the mobile-friendly design. Other information is available to specific Adams Foods stakeholder groups and can only be accessed through a secure login.
"At Adams Foods we are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring insight to our customers. The Insight Portal we have developed with Sigma is a great way to quickly and efficiently share our latest data, research and insight which our key customers can access via smartphone, tablet or just at their desk”
