“We are tremendously pleased and proud of this acknowledgment. It is a wonderful statement that Sigma are the best partner in Sweden, when it comes to supplying and transforming Microsoft services. Our innovative partnership creates success for all parties, not least our mutual customers” says Lars Kry, CEO at Sigma Consulting.

Key to winning the award was Sigma’s leading expertise and solutions, in areas such as the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, Internet of Things (IoT), and predictive data analysis. Sigma are working together with Microsoft and Ericsson, in the Internet of Things field and this has already resulted in innovative solutions for a large number of customers. One of these solutions is Virtual Health Rooms, which offers healthcare virtually and remotely for rural residents; this provides access to good medical services despite long distance to health care professionals.

“Sigma has, over the past few years, worked strategically and persistently with customer offerings based on Microsoft cloud services and products. We have proven great variety and scope within our Microsoft expertise, enabling us to produce really strong and innovative solutions to our customers” says Peter Lindblom, Microsoft Partner Manager at Sigma IT Consulting.

Sigma has implemented a comprehensive internal framework to transform their skills and offerings to Cloud Services and was first in Sweden to reach the level of certification for Microsoft - Gold Cloud Platform.
The award ceremony for Microsoft Country Partner of the Year will be held in July, in conjunction with the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto, Canada.
