10 free Camp Digital tickets to Hyper Island Manchester students

We enjoyed a great day out at Hyper Island's Manchester hub, hearing pitches from their MA students to Movember. The students spent 48 hours working with Movember to innovate their current model of giving. The quality of presentations was excellent and although it was hard to select a winning pitch, we were delighted to give the free tickets to the team who came up with a really great idea for engagement and year-round giving. 

Lauren Currie, learning designer at Hyper Island, commented:

"Three weeks ago these students were a group of 60 strangers from over 24 different nationalities. Now, they are working in teams producing high-quality work - it's brilliant!"

Laura Morley, who was on the winning team and is studying for an MA Digital Experience Design, said:

“It was a great day and even better that it resulted in some tickets for the event!”

As part of our on-going commitment to attract graduate talent into the digital industry, we will be awarding further Camp Digital tickets to UCLAN, MMU, Salford University and the student members of Manchester Digital in the coming weeks.  This initiative has been co-sponsored by the Co-operative Group Digital team, who will be represented at the Camp Digital event by Tom Loosemore, their Digital Services Director
