New training course: creative facilitation skills
By Justin Darley | 02/03/2015
As user experience professionals we need to speak to users and stakeholders. We need to get buy in, we need to work out what matters to people and we need to help stakeholders make the right decisions. Often we do all of these things in workshops. But running workshops can be hard and it doesn’t come naturally to every UX professional.
If this is a problem for you, if you are a top notch interface designer who wants to control difficult discussions, or a gifted researcher who needs to get a room full of people to open up, or you just want to hone and advance your skills, then we can help. Our new Creative Facilitation course, created in collaboration with IdeaSmiths will cover:
- Understanding and managing stakeholders
- Overcoming facilitation challenges
- Seeking and sharing feedback
- Questioning and listening skills
- Building trust and getting decisions made
- Useful models, tools and techniques
With a focus on learning by doing and lots of opportunities to practice, this course will give you the tools you need to get what you and your clients need from the workshops you run.
This one day course costs £350 with an early bird discount to £295.
